Frustrated because THSG doesn’t have a Study Group for your interest? We now have a way to hook up with other guild members that share your interest in a specific fiber art. We are calling it “Fiber Arts Network” (FAN).
The Dyeing Study Group has not been meeting officially and yet they have been staying in touch, sharing information and even meeting up in person. They have been doing this by using the Dyeing Study Group email list – dyeing@thsg.org.
A Fiber Art Network (FAN) is simply an email list for each area of interest. No leader required, no scheduled meetings. The groups that have been created are:
Basketry, Book Arts, Building a Business, Fiber Doll Making, Macrame, Needlework, Rug Hooking, SW Textiles, Tunisian Crochet, World Textiles
The THSG membership form has these choices for you to select when you renew your membership or join for the first time.
