THSG-October RUG WEAVING Study Group

The Rug Weavers Study Group meets monthly on the second Tuesday of each month in a hybrid meeting, with some members in the Week’s room at Grace St. Paul’s church and some via Zoom. Our next meeting will be October 12 at 10 a.m.
We had our first meeting on September 14, which was well attended. There was quite a lot of show and share – all agreed it was really nice to be able to touch the items, not just look. The group decided that our focus for the year will be to weave a piece of our choice in honor of one of our long time members, Sarah Sammons, who recently passed away. We’re going to weave with her favorite colors (HOT ones – reds, yellows and oranges) and liberal use of texture.
