Homespun (literally!) knitted and crocheted ranch created by THSG members
Named after Don Quixote’s horse, the Rancho del Rocinante is created using cotton, wool, mohair, silk, churro, pet hair, beads, balsa wood, wire, pipe cleaners and merino.
The ranch was created by members of the guild, specifically many members of the Spinning Study Group, during the 2006-2007 season. While many of the original creators have left the guild over the years there are still a few members who continue to provide wisdom and experience to THSG.

One obviously needs to be able to create the clothing from the plants and wool available on the ranch, right?
The Ranch was on display during the weekend of February 11-12, 2023 at the Tucson Jewish Community Center during our month-long celebration of 50 years of the Tucson Handweavers and Spinners Guild.
