THSG Library

The THSG Library is housed in the Weeks room at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. 

Use your Member ID (found in one of the Membership listings under the Membership tab in the private Members only area – either sorted by last name or first name) to check out or place a hold on items. 

From home or, really, anywhere with an internet connection, use the SEARCH box, above. You can also pull up the Library catalog from one of the tablets used during Study Group meetings by looking for the little icon that looks like this: 

 However you get there, you’ll find a search box that will accept Author, Title, or Subject search terms. When you find a book you want you can either put a hold on it for the librarian to pull for you (if you’re not in the library) or just check the book out (if you are in the library.)

Due dates are 31 days from check-out. You can renew a book two times if it is not in demand by another member.

Magazines

There is now a Magazine rack attached to the right side of that wooden bookcase. New titles are held in that 5-tiered rack; older issues are in magazine holders further down the wall with the window (to your left in this photo). There’s a clipboard also on that side of the bookcase where you’ll enter your name and the name of the magazine you’re checking out regardless of if it’s the latest or an older issue.

THSG members can access our digital subscription to Surface Design Journal at any time with a login name and password. This benefit is only available to our members. To receive information about access to this journal, email library@thsg.org and the access information will be returned via email.

Digital access to our other subscriptions including Handwoven and SpinOff is not available.
