THSG-May PORREY CROSS Study Group

The Porrey Cross Study Group will have a hybrid meeting (via ZOOM and in person at Grace St.Paul Episcopal Church) on May 12, at 10 a.m.

Discussion will revolve around preparations for the next season. No doubt there will be some follow up to the topic of ‘design’ which we’ve been taking various stabs at during the 2021-2022 season. Current options for the 2022-2023 season include Crackle Weave or Inlay techniques, but no one seems wedded to any particular idea so feel free to come and offer something else to the group. We will also discuss the possibility of continuing to meet throughout the summer months, at least via Zoom but possibly also as hybrid. (Summer meetings would not be considered ‘official’ meetings, so would not be recorded for future reference.) If you weave with a multi-shaft loom or are interested in hearing more about that, consider attending this final meeting of the current season and have input into the next topic to study during next season!
