THSG FELT STUDY GROUP 11-01-2021
Hello Fellow Felters!
Hope you had fun over the past month completing our assigned sphere project. We did the first step a la Artist
Piet Modrian by making a prefelt. Then we went home and applied the prefelt to a 20” diameter sphere resist.
From that point on each of us was free to create whatever we came up with using the 3-4 layer sphere resist
shape. A hat, vessel, bowl or…!

But the group RULES so please think about what you may really want to do! WE will choose.
5. Possible Felting Quickie! Just bring your regular kit. We have everything else we need to make wet-felted
seasonal/holiday flowers to get our actual felting fix. I will share how I do it.
6. Bring a couple of new garbage bags to take home your share of the lovely wool that Karen Samson donated
to our group.
